What does “real" mean?
It means we've been in your shoes. Over the years, we’ve experienced a wide range of scenarios through working with our clients or personally. We sincerely relate and deliver winning strategies to support your ideal outcome. When on a real estate adventure one must balance finances, timing, desire, emotions, facts, and practicality while maintaining the ins and outs of day to day life. We understand the pressure and inconveniences that can appear throughout this process.
We want to prepare you fully, so we begin with an initial consultation. In this meeting, we discuss your goals, dreams and ideal outcomes. From there, we create a playbook tailored to your personal and specific goals with detailed steps designed to reach your objective. Our advanced approach has proven time and time again to provide sellers with the highest possible price and buyers with intelligent and profitable investments.
Who are we?
Brandi Jones
I came to Santa Cruz to attend and graduate from UCSC. I never left! I didn't know real estate was the place for me so I went to work in the Silicon Valley. One day, a community member said “when real estate is done correctly, it is the epicenter of the local community. In real estate people need painters, plumbers, landscapers, and more.” That simple statement underscored my passion for community (my senior project was helping pregnant homeless women) so in 2005 I jumped in with both feet. From there, I've experienced the highs and lows of the markets and the highly varied needs of consumers. I have worked avidly with buyers, sellers, flippers, short sales, remodels, commercial spaces, condos, 1031 exchanges, family trusts, bankruptcy, court orders, foreclosures, agricultural land, vacant land, vacation rentals, new construction, ocean front, river front, mountain homes, and more.
In my spare time I love to volunteer, play beach volleyball, do CrossFit, create art, and enjoy local wine. I’ve been a Pilates teacher, wine judge, volleyball coach, a member of the board of directors for the Capitola Soquel Chamber and the Aptos Chamber of Commerce. I also volunteer for United Way, homeless food projects, and was a recent president of Women's Council of Realtors.
My passion is to build community by helping people excel in real estate, marketing and social media and I strive to maximize inclusion and welcome all backgrounds and lifestyles to work with us!

What inspired me to get into real estate?
My wife and I purchased our first home in the Santa Cruz mountains without knowing the first thing about mountain living. Unfortunately our purchase included endless nightmare scenarios of a poorly remodeled home. The property had a multitude of issues that ranged from a lack of drainage, failed septic system, flooding, roof leaks, mold, and more. We were heartbroken that our first family home was not “completely remodeled" as advertised. This turned into painful years of legal processes. From this experience I became dedicated to preventing others from ever experiencing what we went through. I guide our clients through an educational home examination that includes a thorough understanding of neighborhoods, microclimates, terrain, and home types. Brandi and I will provide qualified experts to answer your questions and concerns. We have both learned that having a game plan and team of trusted professionals are fundamental ingredients to a successful real estate transaction.
I have over 15 years of corporate marketing/project management experience working with start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. I grew up in the construction trades and my family business was residential remodeling throughout Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties. This experience provides a key backdrop in my career of project management and residential remodeling for my clients.
My community is important to me. I have managed local bands and a record label, and created one of the first youth-inspired skateboard companies. I also coached one of the youngest skateboard teams in the country. This led to an opportunity for me to help future pro-skaters navigate the complicated world of competition skateboarding. Some of the team riders I mentored can be found in the X-Games today.
I have a passion for skateboarding, surfing, playing music and photography which lends itself perfectly to a Santa Cruz outdoor lifestyle.
