After 3 generations of sweat, hard work, and lovely family memories it was time to turn the page. The land was pride of ownership. It had a special topography that allowed a vineyard, swimming hole, trails, and backed up to Buddhist land. Because Santa Cruz County tries to protect very special land this property had a unique set of challenges. We worked with land use planners, engineers, environmental health department, Fish and Game, Soils Engineers, contractors, CAL Fire and the county planning department to assist both sides of the transaction. In the end the buyer had his dream comes true with a clear path on developing the property for his own family use as well as a retreat for Veterans who suffer from PTSD.
